It’s hard to name that one person who’s never played a guitar, or at least, wanted to. Hobbyists and occasional guitar players are in abundance, but those handful who are in dire need of a good acoustic guitar will certainly like what we’ve prepared.
The Fender CD-140SCE Electro Acoustic utilises that most time-honoured of acoustic body shapes, the dreadnought.
Noted because of its capacity to adapt to most genres, this body shape is the favourite of many, many artists.
Before you even begin to talk about wood types you know this guitar will be an excellent flatpicker whilst being adept in strumming and fingerstyle playing, all the while arming you with plenty of projection and a full, resonant sound.
The solid spruce top on the Fender CD140SCE Acoustic Electric Guitar produces a lot of crisp tone and volume that the Fender/Fishman Aero electronics accurately capture.
Equipped with a built-in tuner and a 3-band EQ with sweepable midrange, the Aero system is easy to use onstage to get a great amplified sound.
The all-mahogany body adds warmth and roundness to the tone.
A rosewood fingerboard tops the comfortable and fast nato neck.
Black binding on the body and a uniquely shaped bridge gives the CD140SCE acoustic-electric a decidedly modern look.

- Very Nice! No issues!
This is a good guitar for the money. I previously owned a Ibanez guitar, which costs about the same, but find this guitar to have a better sound. The tuner is helpful and accurate enough, and the onboard pickup sound pretty good. I love it! I am certainly no professional, but I think this thing sounds great and looks great. The action is very light with no buzz. For the money you can't go wrong.
