The versatile sonic character of the Ibanez GRG170DX Electric Guitar comes from the Infinity pickups at the bridge, neck, and middle positions. The Infinity R humbucker pickups offer warm tones with a wide bass response typical of the jazz and heavy rock genres. On the other hand, the Infinity RS single-coil pickup produces bright, crisp tones with considerable note definition, and is therefore well-suited for country, punk, and pop.
