Wincent uses specially selected US Hickory and Maple wood; kiln dried to a particular level for maximum durability. Special machinery is used - designed purely for drum stick production and made only for Wincent. UWP: All sticks are bathed in water-based, natural wax formula. This not only gives the sticks great grip, it also prevents the wood from cracking and splitting in the sensitive rim-shot and neck/tip areas.
After request from Jazz drummers, Wincent introduced this special 5A thickness. The neck is extremly long for great rebound and also the tip is special designed to create warm, brilliant ride-cymbals sounds. This model has also been a choice for the Turkish mega-drummer Dogac Titiz.
All sticks are matched in weight and pitch. On top of this, all Wincent sticks have the model code printed on the butt-end of the stick for easy identification in your stick bag. This has been a Wincent trademark since 2002
